For Daniel, fitness is so much more than working out; it’s about reclaiming your relationship with your body and discovering what you’re capable of. At 20 years old, he was diagnosed with a neurodegenerative disease, a moment that forced him to reevaluate his relationship with strength, his identity and health. Having been an elite athlete for over a decade, Daniel understood what it felt like to trust his body implicitly, and contrarily, the feeling of having that trust shattered. Daniel’s life experiences wholly shape who he shows up to work as at Body + Soul Fitness.
His goal is to show people that the gym is free of judgement. A space for rebuilding, empowering, and endless possibilities. A fierce supporter of the queer community, Daniel is committed to creating an inclusive space where everyone feels safe and celebrated. His promise to you is simple: show up, and he’ll meet you right there and take care of the rest.
